Save the destination offline
Ask the hotel to send its Chinese name, complete address, front-desk number and late-arrival instructions. Copy those details into your arrival pack or save them on your phone. Confirm the branch: an English chain name alone may identify several properties. Avoid adding passport or card details to a show-to-driver card.
Choose an option with a usable payment route
Compare the airport’s current rail, bus, taxi and pickup information against your landing time, luggage and final distance. A prearranged pickup needs a written meeting point, delay policy and payment confirmation. For a taxi, ask the official queue staff about payment before boarding if your app is not ready.
Go to the correct pickup zone
Follow the terminal’s current signs or your booked operator’s instructions. Ride-hailing zones can differ from taxi ranks. Beijing Capital Airport currently lists T2 ride-hailing at the southeast side of parking building 2, floor 1, and T3 at parking building 3, B2, zone H. These are PEK ride-hailing examples, not Daxing or nationwide directions.
Confirm the vehicle and destination
For an app booking, match the plate and booking details before boarding. Show the Chinese hotel address and confirm the branch. Keep the journey or receipt details. On arrival, check the hotel name against the confirmation before you unload and end the trip.

If it doesn’t work
You arrive after rail or bus service ends
Use the airport’s current information to find an operating option. Do not rely on a national last-train time. Ask the information desk for the official taxi queue or contact your prebooked pickup.
The driver cannot find you
Send the airport, terminal and exact pickup zone shown in your booking. Remain at a staffed, signed location while clarifying the meeting point. Do not confuse a taxi queue with a ride-hailing parking zone.
No internet or working payment app
Show your saved destination card to airport staff and ask for a route you can pay for. A printed hotel address and a backup payment method reduce dependence on a live app.
